Here is the story of a very dear friend of ours from Mumbai India - Satish Vasan ( 58 years ), married wth 2 kids. He is recently diagnosed for pancreatic cancer. In th last 3 months , he has undergone Surgery, Chemo and Radiation and is well on the road to recovery BUT this has had a financial impact. He has spent close to Rs. 12 lacs ( $20,000 ) and the insurance has covered this partilaly, leaving a gap of atleast Rs. 6 lacs ( $10,000). This would account for other medications and the time to recuperate before , Satish is able to get back to work . Our support will enable us all to see him through this challenging times.
