Our Palmerston Raiders family is rallying behind one of our own, Rosemary Rokobiau, a strong and determined Under 15 player who recently suffered a serious spinal cord compression injury during a game on Saturday.

Rosemary is currently in Adelaide, where she will remain for the next couple of months undergoing recovery and rehabilitation. While she continues to show incredible strength, this has been a life-changing moment for both Rosemary and her family.

To make things even more challenging, the family is already supporting another child who is undergoing medical treatment in Darwin. This means Rosemary’s parents will need to travel back and forth between Adelaide and Darwin to care for both of their children during this incredibly difficult time.

The financial pressure of flights, accommodation, food, and ongoing medical-related expenses will be significant.

We are asking our community, friends, and the wider rugby league family to come together and support Rosemary and her family during this time.

This fundraiser has been created by Marie Greenwood on behalf of Palmerston Raiders RLFC to support Rosemary Rokobiau and her family.

Rosemary is one of our Under 15 players who suffered a spinal cord compression injury during a rugby league game and is currently in Adelaide undergoing recovery and rehabilitation.

As a member of the Palmerston Raiders community, I am helping raise funds to support Rosemary’s family during this difficult time.

All funds raised will be transferred directly to Rosemary’s family to assist with flights between Adelaide and Darwin, accommodation, meals, transport, and ongoing expenses while Rosemary undergoes recovery and rehabilitation.

Palmerston Raiders RLFC has a close relationship with Rosemary and her family and is committed to supporting them throughout this journey. Rosemary's mother Wainisi has authorised this campaign.
