Two beloved queer and trans immigrant Latine community leaders and their cats have been displaced from their home by a devastating Four Alarm fire in Bushwick that destroyed most of their belongings and need our support to cover the costs of damages and housing.
Their building has been ordered a full vacate, which means it is uninhabitable. The department of buildings is projecting a 6-8 month construction time.
They have poured so much love and unpaid labor into QTBIPOC community under attacks from the state—let’s show up to make sure they are safe, sound, and supported!
