Hello everyone, my name is Paul Hurt. In 2000, I was wrongfully convicted of a crime. I spent 20 years in prison before I was exonerated and pardoned in 2019. During that time, music became more than a passion. It became a lifeline. It helped me process pain, hold on to hope, and stay connected to who I am. Even in the hardest moments, music gave me a way to feel free.

Music has been with me through every chapter of my life. Before prison, it was a joy. During those years inside, it was healing. Now that I am home, it is part of how I rebuild and move forward. I am raising funds to record and release a full-length LP with my band, Kin of None. This project is not just about making music. It is about sharing my story, finding peace, and creating something good from what I went through.
