Support Paul’s Medical and Legal Battles

My name is Paul McGinley and the challenges I’ve faced have left me broke, actually really very broke.

This is why I’m hoping that I can find some help by using GoFundMe. I’ve never done this, never tried GoFundMe until now.

I hope what I’ve written is appropriate and useful, and I may edit later. However, my issues described here are all true and I have no other pressing issues.

My dental needs (two tooth implants), credit cards, a loan, and lawyer fees. 

Medically, I have a condition that I’ve been treated for since a year ago. The medications available to me are limited because my brain is covered in hemorrhages (intracranial hemorrhages) and I can’t use the other medication options as they will cause bleeding. The last one we will try is the most effective choice but also the most expensive at $1000 per month, and that is just my co-pay for my insurance. I have no idea as to the full price.

And finally, my ex-wife basically stole my car.

We had two cars. She was moving to India, so we agreed I would sell one of the cars and keep the other one. BUT I forgot that the title on that one was in her name. 

On July 4th, we met to discuss a few things. As she was leaving, I asked where the car was, and she told me she rented the car to a friend, and since it was in her (my ex-wife’s) name, I would never have it back.

She did this knowing that I had just put $5200 into repairs for the car. That was all the money I had. And I only had that because I had been selling some of my belongings (still doing that) and managed to save up $4800. Two friends of mine helped me with the balance of the repair. That money was the most I had saved, and the car expense wiped me out entirely. That was depressing, and my depression and anxiety worsened. I moved into a cheaper apartment, and due to the fact that I had been selling some of my belongings, I only have a small desk, kitchen table, one chair (it IS comfy), and a mattress.

I hope this explains my situation in a way that everyone can understand. Everything that happened, everything I’ve written is absolutely 100% true.
