Hello, I'm Jaiden Vitovsky!
This year, I am part of a unique science, technology, and entrepreneurship class. A few weeks ago, my classmates and I hosted the Texas United Nations International Youth Day (see picture), and we learned from Kushal Ramyad, a high-level director at the UN, that no Texas group has ever attended the United Nations General Assembly. We're changing that! Our small class is leading efforts to take 18 Texan teenagers to the 2025 UN General Assembly in New York City. We'll be the first-ever Texan youth delegation!
While we're there, we'll hold and attend private meetings, engage with global leaders, and become accredited official UN Delegates.
How cool is that?! The issues being debated today are the ones my generation will inherit. We'll experience those conversations firsthand and share youth perspectives on themes such as sustainable energy and accessible technology.
The UN often promotes ideas that challenge how our country makes decisions. I believe my generation needs to understand what's being discussed, not just go along with it. I want to engage with awareness, even at my age, and even in a place like the UN!
Why me?
1) I'm motivated, respectful, and willing to work hard. I’ve gained real-world experience in professional settings, including customer engagement, managing booths at markets, running flag routes, and starting multiple small businesses.
2) I’m just now stepping into the world of politics and government and am eager to learn more. I currently run my own business and co-own another. For the past two years, I’ve been part of the teen staff at the Texas Homeschool Convention, I’ve served as student council treasurer for two years, and I’m active member in YAF.
3) I plan to study engineering in college, and I believe the leadership and global perspectives I gain from this trip to attend the UN General Assembly in NYC will help shape how I lead and approach problems in the future.
Why Support This Trip?
This youth-led initiative gives Texas students the opportunity to represent their state at the United Nations General Assembly for the first time in history. We're not going to blindly follow global agendas. We're going to observe, question, and think critically. This experience will equip us to lead with clarity, courage, and conviction in our communities, our nation, and beyond.
Your support helps cover flights, lodging, and meals for students in the delegation who are stepping up to learn, lead, and make their voices heard. Please pray that we would follow God's lead, represent Texas well, and grow into bold leaders who stand for truth in a complex world.
Thank you for your consideration!
*Any donations received above personal goals will go directly to helping other teens going on this trip with their travel, lodging, and meal costs. Our entire group is working hard to make this happen and there will be no teen left behind!
