Our dad, Jose (Pepe), has been hospitalized for several days after his health took an unexpected and serious turn. He has been diagnosed with renal failure and will begin intensive dialysis treatment while he awaits a kidney transplant. This is the beginning of a long medical journey that will require consistent care, strength, and community support.

For over 30 years, he has worked tirelessly to provide for our family. As a former agricultural contractor and farm worker, he has given so much of himself, not only to us but to countless others through his hard work and dedication to the land and his community. He is a loving father, a devoted husband, and someone who has touched many lives through his kindness and strong work ethic.

This sudden change has been emotionally and financially overwhelming. While we are grateful that dialysis gives him the chance to continue living and spending time with those who love him, nothing could have prepared us for the medical costs associated with dialysis and the transplant process.
