With a shattered heart, I am sharing the devastating loss of my beloved son, Keonte “Curnal” Woods, whose life was tragically taken on February 9, 2026. This pain is unbearable, and my family is still trying to process the reality of this unimaginable loss. In just 13 months, I have now lost two sons and I just received the devastating news that his insurance claim was denied.

My heart is broken beyond words, yet I must find the strength to stand for my grandsons, Noah and Israel, who have lost their loving father, protector, and provider. Keonte was an amazing father who loved his boys deeply and worked hard to give them the best life possible. His sudden passing has left a tremendous emotional and financial void.
