Every bit helps!
A Niue Rugby League invitational team is heading to Japan this October to take on the Japanese national side in Hokkaido, the country’s northern island. While the match is unsanctioned, it's a significant moment - the first time a Niuean rugby league team has toured in several years.
There's growing excitement in the Niuean community to see the team return to the international stage, proudly representing their people and culture.
However, this tour is entirely self-funded. Players are covering their own travel costs, so we’re reaching out to our extended community and supporters for help.
Your donation will go directly toward:
- ✈️ Flights
- Accommodation
- Travel insurance (including coverage for contact sport)
- Airport transfers
This tour is more than just a match — it’s a powerful cultural exchange, an opportunity to raise the profile of the sport, and a chance to build lasting friendships between Niue and Japan.
If you're in a position to donate, no matter how small, we’d be incredibly grateful.
Your support will make a real difference.
Fakaaue lahi — thank you!
