Support Nicole Sullivan's Battle with Breast Cancer

Donativo protegido
I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mother, Nicole Sullivan, who is a single mom of six—two of us are adults who care for ourselves, but she still carries the full weight of supporting her other children. In June 2024, she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, one of the most aggressive forms. She underwent a lumpectomy, six months of chemotherapy, and is now going through two months of daily radiation, all while working full-time without a car (until recently due to costly mechanical issues), because she didn’t qualify for short-term disability.

Radiation has left her with severe burns to her chest, ribs, shoulder, and arms. Her muscles, nerves, and tendons are damaged, and she struggles with panic attacks and insensitive medical staff during treatment. She’s lost her hair and must stay out of the sun, which is nearly impossible while living in Central Florida, and needs special SPF gear just to go outside.

She’s continuously puts her children first. With one daughter graduating high school in May and three other teens still at home, she continues to work full-time and put her own healing last. She has had the support of family the past year. But now, she needs her community's help.

We’re raising funds to help cover what insurance won’t:

  • Burn creams and oncology creams (Silvadene, aloe, calendula)

  • SPF clothing and sunscreens for dark skin

  • Heliocare supplements (advanced antioxidant supplement)

  • Wigs and headwraps

  • Cooling pillows and gentle, supportive bras for larger breast size

  • Physical therapy and red light therapy

  • Mental health support for panic attacks and medical trauma

  • Nutritional supplements (vitamin D, omega-3s, protein support, B vitamins, and probiotics)

  • Transportation to treatments since drivers are limited through the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program in Lakeland, FL.

  • Basic support at home for rest and recovery

Cancer treatment doesn’t stop when chemo ends, and recovery isn’t covered the way it should be. Please consider helping this strong, loving woman finally take care of herself the way she’s always taken care of us.

Every donation means the world. Thank you for helping us lift her up.
