Hello friends, family, and kind strangers,

My sweet boy Nacho has always been the light of my life — he’s my loyal companion, my adventure buddy, and the goofiest, most loving dog you could ever meet. Whether he’s chasing balls, cuddling on the couch, or just staring at me with those big eyes, he makes every day better.

A little while ago, we noticed a lump on his leg. That bump grew and burst! After tests and a biopsy, the devastating news came: it’s a cancerous tumor. The vet says the best chance for him is a CT scan to check for spread and surgery to remove it as soon as possible, hopefully catching it before it spreads further.

The estimated cost for the surgery, pre-op tests, anesthesia, hospital stay, and follow-up care is several thousand dollars — way more than I can cover on my own right now. I’m doing everything I can, but I need help to give Nacho the fighting chance he deserves.
