It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, Gerald Chastain, on September 27, 2026. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who brought so much joy and happiness into the lives of everyone around him.

Gerald was a Christian family man who loved his wife and sons fiercely along with his granddaughter, Ella. He gave to his country, his family, and to his friends. His loss was sudden, and our family was completely unprepared for the emotional and financial weight of this difficult time.

We are organizing this fundraiser to help cover the costs of his burial, and to help his beloved wife Pam as she tries to move ahead with life without him. Donations will go directly toward these final expenses.

I’m raising funds for my mother after the loss of her husband, my father. She is grieving a devastating loss while also facing burial costs and growing tax burdens.

Day to day, she is struggling and trying to stay strong through all of this. On top of mourning, she is carrying the weight of funeral expenses and home taxes that continue to build. She is doing her best to keep the assets she can while managing these urgent costs.
