Support my fight against Breast Cancer

Hi, I'm Elvira Michelle Anne Garcia, On Tuesday, December 27, 2022 I received a call from my primary care doctor sharing news about a recent biopsy that was done after finding a lump in my left breast. The news was I have Infiltrated Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). Since then I was referred to MD Anderson Breast Cancer Center, where a care team was established and continue to help tackle the cancer. My next diagnosis was that I am a candidate for chemotherapy. It's only been a month and there are some expenses that are not covered by my current health insurance. I am still currently working to pay for our main bills and expenses. My current profession is law enforcement i have been a peace officer for almost 5 years now. Without knowing how my body will react to treatment, will determine my ability to keep working.

My inspiration to fight my battle, other than supportive family and friends, is a young cancer fighter who lost her battle who taught me how to "fight the bad guys" her dream was to be a peace officer, she became an honorary Officer around the world and fought Cancer very well while living her best life. She is my strength.

I am not one to ever ask for help especially when I most need it. I do for others before I ever do for myself. All i ask is for what moves your heart. Any amount will help in a long way and we (my husband and I) truly appreciate it as we've been taken for a whirlwind with this diagnosis.
