Hey! Normally, I wouldn’t do one of these, but my brother-in-law, Mingo, and my sister and their children have fallen on hard times!

Mingo was recently diagnosed with papillary follicular carcinoma. After over a year of tests and misdiagnosis, they were finally able to get some answers! He has undergone two surgeries within two weeks and they are still waiting for test results to see if any further surgeries will be needed. He will also be needing further treatments of radiation and possibly chemotherapy.

My sister and Mingo are business owners and self-employed, so they have private insurance which isn’t cheap. The medical bills are piling up. They aren’t the type of people to ask for help and are usually the ones helping or donating to help others! With all that they are going through, Mingo will be unable to work for at least six months, if not longer, and he earns half of the household income! My sister will continue to work and run their businesses but will also have to take time to care for their two kids and Mingo as treatments progress!

We are not asking for a handout but for help for them as they face one of the hardest obstacles together yet! They are a wonderful couple in the community they live in and go above and beyond to be a positive influence for others! If you can’t donate, we would be grateful for prayers!
