Update:

Thank you to the hundreds of people who continue to offer kindness and support to Michael and Tammi. Recently, after making positive strides, Michael suffered a set back--a brain bleed, another form of stroke. Thankfully, it is isolated to the vascular region and does not seem to have caused more damage to his brain. He is in stable condition at Massachusetts General Hospital where he will undergo more testing before a final treatment plan is formulated.

Needless to say, this has been incredibly difficult for Tammi and Michael's entire family. Yet true to form, Michael fights. He seems to know what is happening around him, has displayed small movements on his "bad side," squeezes Tammi's hand, and reassures her with his facial expressions. Michael does not give up.

We continue to feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of generosity and encouragement. We are almost there. Tammi and Michael thank you for liking, sharing, and spreading the word. Your thoughtfulness is lifting them up each day.
