Help Me Support Mark Bryant's Children after Tragedy
Donation protected
On May 13, 2024, the Bryant family received the most devastating news, Mark Bryant, 52, was killed in a car accident early that morning. It is with enormous sadness and a heavy heart that I share this tragedy and ask you for help. Mark was my only brother/sibling, and his three children, along with an entire community, are devastated and in shock, and unprepared for everything ahead.
Mark's children have overcome many obstacles in their lives, and I know they will find the strength to navigate this unimaginable tragedy. However, losing a parent so suddenly and tragically leaves a wound that will never fully heal, and their lifelong journey is just beginning. Our family will never be the same without Mark, and neither will anyone who had the pleasure of knowing or working with him. We ask that you continue to pray for Mark's family during this difficult time. Alongside the emotional pain and stress, this tragedy has brought stressful financial burdens.
I am starting this GoFundMe to provide immediate support for my brother's children, covering unforeseen bills and immediate living expenses. They are understandably in acute shock and unprepared for all that is happening at this time.
In times of sadness and loss, it is heartwarming to see people come together to help one another through. Any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep the entire Bryant family in your thoughts and prayers during this time of heartbreak.
Thank you in advance for your loving kindness.

THE TRAGIC ACCIDENT
On the morning of May 13, 2024, my brother Mark tragically lost his life in a car accident as a Freightliner lost control and crossed the center line, colliding head-on with Mark's Ford F-150. Mark was killed instantly at the scene. He was a beloved father, educator, and friend, leaving behind his three children: Ashton, Nicholas, and Noah. As they navigate life without their loving dad, they need our support more than ever.
ABOUT MARK & WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
An entire family and community is heartbroken and devastated. Mark, 52, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, tragically lost his life on May 13, 2024, in a car accident. Born on February 9, 1972, in Paragould, Mark was the cherished son of the late Eugene and Concepcion (Connie) Tepacia Bryant.
Mark earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry and dedicated his career to his work at American Silica, Crane Composites, and as a respected Chemistry and Physical Science instructor at Arkansas State University. Despite his professional success, his job was impacted by COVID-19. Throughout these challenges, Mark remained a man of immense knowledge, compassion, and dedication to helping others, touching countless lives through his teaching, community involvement, and raising his children.
Mark was a kind soul who helped many people throughout his life. Now, his children need our support as they navigate life without their loving dad. Your contributions will provide them with much-needed financial stability and access to wellbeing services during this incomprehensible and difficult period.

This GoFundMe campaign aims to raise $15,740 (167,000 kr) to help cover immediate expenses and provide them with some security as they move forward over the next three months.

ABOUT ME, ANGELA (ANGIE)
My name is Angela Bryant-Ryden, and I am raising money for my niece and nephews living in the United States, whose dad, Mark, was my only brother. Throughout the years, together with my mother and family, I have been coordinating, funding, and participating in compassionate relief efforts both in the Philippines and the United States for over 30 years.
For many who grow up in the line of service, or those who are US-born Asian-American children supporting their poverty-stricken families abroad, it is a quiet, unnoticed, and dutiful labor of love. My brother and I were both born into this line of service, and over the years, I have created a reliable and trustworthy network of people, whether it is on the ground—simple, kind, and humble individuals— or business professionals who simply want to help worthy causes, all working together to help those in need, directly, and without any middleman.
