I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Marissa Paulzine, a devoted mother of four who is facing an incredibly difficult season. Within just the last couple of weeks, two of her children experienced serious medical emergencies.

Her oldest son, who lives with asthma, became very ill and required an urgent care visit. Only two days later, her youngest son—who has Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI)—suffered a severe fracture in his left femur due to significant bowing in his legs. He required surgery to place a rod in the bone, and although he will eventually need the same procedure on his right leg, doctors cannot perform it until that femur also breaks.

These emergencies forced Marissa to miss multiple days of work, and as a result, she unexpectedly lost her job. She is now without income at a time when medical needs are high and day-to-day expenses continue to pile up.

With the holidays approaching, Marissa is heartbroken that she cannot provide Christmas gifts for her children during such a stressful time.

We are asking for help to support Marissa and her family as they navigate these unexpected challenges—covering basic expenses, medical-related costs, and hopefully allowing her kids to experience some joy this Christmas.
