Support Mandy Carter's Fight Against Cervical Cancer

Hello everyone.. my name is Mandy Carter. I have had cervical cancer for about 10 years now, and I have been fighting for seven. I heard about GoFundMe through a mutual friend who recommended it due to my dire situation. I have tried to work, for I have worked my whole life. I was a single mom with three children when I became too sick to work anymore. My youngest is 18 now, and they help in every way they can emotionally. Because like me, they work but barely get by themselves.

I recently was restaged at 3, as my tumor is bigger now than ever. I am currently undergoing my 7th treatment and have recently lost all of my hair again LOL, but that is not a concern considering I became homeless and am now very, very sick. Thankfully, I have one good friend who has taken me in. He himself is retired and has medical issues as well, so therefore is unable to help me out financially with my situation.

I recently had a nephrostomy bag put in my kidney because the cancer is bearing weight down on it. And just found out that i now have to have a colostomy bag as well, and no idea of how or even where to get these supplies, much less how im going to afford them. Medicaid here in Arkansas will only do so much as far as coverage, and I have way more very necessary supplies and medications that are essential for my treatment to hopefully be successful.

I've never reached out like this, for I am a bit modest and just like to hold my own if you know what I mean. So I'm asking from the bottom of my heart, anyone who can help in any way whatsoever will be greatly appreciated and would be contributing to saving my life. For I am unable to afford these next few months of my medical necessities. As I am in dire straits and just reaching out to anyone that is able and willing to help... thank you and God bless you all.
