Support Linda's DIPG Aggressive Terminal Brain Cancer

Donation protected

My name is Julie Johnson, I am the grandma to Linda Rose Giron-Johnson.
On Wednesday, 3/26/2025 my daughter and son in law took their youngest daughter Linda, age 6, to the doctor for a consult on tonsils. The doctor saw some things during Linda's exam that the dr was concerned about-(her gait, slight swelling on the side of her face, her vocal presentation, mouth, eyes and blood pressure) so they told Linda's parents to take her to Children's Hospital in Aurora, Colo- once there they were to request a Neurologist .
The very 1st test they performed was a rapid CAT scan- the doctor said this was a normal test to rule out the worst. The results weren't good but then they scheduled a MRI... results matched the CAT scan, they went ahead and set up a biopsy the next morning. No parent ever wants their child to have to go thru a brian biopsy then hearing the results were devastating.
The diagnoses is DIPG, Terminal Brain Cancer. NO CURE
This cancer is very aggressive, it targets the Pons of the brain on her Central Nervous System. It's targets little girls aged 5-7, survival is typically 9 months from diagnoses.
In Linda's case, the cancer tumor is the size of a golf ball and the doctors are unsure as to why it's that large already since they estimated Linda has only had it for 2-4 weeks.
This type of childhood cancer has had very little research due to it's targeted victims and rarity, but it's becoming more common than we think,as we had a friend who told us she knows someone who's little girl was recently diagnosed as well.
I ask for your prayers for Linda, Mom & Dad and 3 sisters. THEY need all the love, support, prayers, and kindness.
The funds raised will go towards Linda's treatment, medical needs, gas to and from, meals, activities to take with her- Since this cancer is so unknown I can't even fathom what will be needed financially going forward. This will affect the entire family for a lifetime but as of now, there is Loss of income, bills, wheelchair ramp, specialty items for her diagnoses, etc..Linda's parents and siblings will need support as well-
Destene,Haylee and Jazlyn are trying to be as strong as possible especially in the presence of their little sister, contributing to her care, helping their parents, household upkeep, etc. I'm very supportive of the siblings to continue their after-school activities that they are currently enrolled in.
I could definitely write a novel but I would like to ask you to follow "Love for Linda" fb page for more updates and info.
If you would like to donate (regardless of the amount), leave a encouraging message, or just share the GoFundMe and/or Love for Linda page, feel free to do so.
Thank you to each and everyone who even just takes the time to read the post.
