In Loving Memory of Timothy Montanye: Support for Linda and Trevor

It’s impossible to capture the fullness of Timothy’s spirit in words, but those who knew him will tell you: he was a good and faithful man, devoted to his family, his friends, and his God. Timothy would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need, and his loyalty and generosity left an indelible mark on every person he met.

Timothy’s passion for life was contagious. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he took great joy in passing those traditions on to younger generations. He was a man who lived hard, loved hard, and played hard. He worked tirelessly, never stopping until the job was done, and always had an eye on finishing the many labors of love around the house. His dream was to one day build a little homestead for his family, where he and Linda could live out their days together, surrounded by gardens, chickens, and goats - a simple, beautiful life.

Tim’s sense of humor was legendary, as was his cooking, especially when it came to meals prepared with his own hands—deer, fish, vegetables from his garden. And oh, how he loved a good nap after those hearty meals. Despite living life at full speed, he never failed to make time for his aging parents, checking on them daily, and he was always there for those who needed him.

Above all, Tim loved his family with all his heart. His wife, Linda, and their son, Trevor, were his pride and joy, and he worked tirelessly to provide for them. Tragically, Timothy had recently canceled his life insurance while seeking out a better plan, and now Linda and Trevor are left without the security he worked so hard to provide.

We’re setting up this GoFundMe to help ease the burden on Linda and Trevor during this incredibly difficult time. Timothy died suddenly and tragically from a brain aneurysm on September 13, 2024. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to helping them with immediate expenses and provide some comfort as they adjust to life without their beloved husband and father. A majority of the funds raised will be used to help Linda stay in her home and avoid the need to sell it.

On Friday, 9/13/24, at 8:43pm I lost the love of my life, my best friend, and my heart. Tim left us unexpectedly and far too soon to go be with the Lord our God. The blessings are he saved two lives with his kidneys and is no longer in pain. He was in pain everyday but he pushed through it to take care of me. Tim was one of the best men I have ever known. Oh Tim. I don't know how to move forward without you. I can't do this without you. We had so many plans left to look forward to and to finish. We never got to spend our golden years holding hands on the front porch. I miss you more than words can express. You took my heart with you. Take care of it until I get there. I LOVE you, Linda.
