Support Lily, Hunter, Madeleine and Sia

A week and a half before Christmas, Brett Chaudhry was driving home on a Friday from work when he was killed in a car accident, leaving behind his wife Lily, his 10-year-old son, Hunter, nine-year-old daughter Maddie and six-year-old Sia.

This sudden and traumatic loss has left all those who knew Brett shocked and heartbroken, but none more than his family, especially his wife Lily and their three little people.

We would like to help Lily by alleviating some of the immediate financial pressure she now so unexpectedly faces as she cares for Hunter, Maddie and Sia, slowly putting the pieces of their lives back together while having to manage all of the costs of living and also having had to fund Brett's funeral.

Brett was just 40 years old and at a high point in his life – happy, healthy, successful and connecting with what was truly important to him, Brett was living in country WA and commuting to the city for work - when his life was so shockingly cut short. Brett was known for his bright mind, sharp sense of humour, his thoughtful nature and his obsessions – green tea, correct levels of caffeination, music, running, theology and spirituality, but most of all, his family.

We are reaching out to those who knew Brett and were touched by his energy, his humour and his genuine zest for life, who may want to support in some small way Lily and their children Hunter, who turns 11 on Monday, Maddie and Sia, left behind in the most heartbreaking of circumstances.
