Why are we raising money? The short answer is to stay next to our son who is in the NICU experiencing multiple seizures each day. WE ARE NOT ASKING ANYONE to pay his hospital bills. That is our responsibility, however any surplus will go toward this responsibility.
LIAMS STORY:
Liam was born 6-29-18 at 6:55 pm at 7 pounds even. Shortly after his birth we noticed he would turn blue in the face as if he was not breathing. We were told by his nurses he could be choking on spit up. After several episodes of this, Liam turned completely blue. We called the nurses who came in, saw Liam, and started ripping his cords off of his legs and ran with him like a foot ball down the hall. Without hesitation I “Will” ran down the hall after them. Liam went without breathing for over a minute before he picked back up. No one knew what was happening.
Liam was moved to a NICU to be observed. Come to find out Liam was having seizures that stopped his breathing.
Since then Liam has undergone many many tests. A lumbar puncture Of his spinal fluid, 24/7 EEG, blood cultures, lab work, scans, daily physical exams, and soon many more like an MRI.
Liam is currently very drowsy from the seizure medicine, he is not very responsive at this time. The medicine has not stopped his seizures but are helping some. We are trying so hard to stop them. Until we figure out what is causing them we may not be able to halt them. Be praying for his diagnosis. We are praying hard for our son.
We have to move out of our house this Friday the 6th. It will be 2 hours away from Liam :(
We were chosen to stay at the Ronald Mcdonald house across the street at the hospital. They only ask that we donate 10 dollars a day. I have no idea how long We will need to be there.
Please above all, be praying for our son. The donations to Ronald Mcdonald House are less important than your prayers will ever be.
And again, we are not asking you to pay our bills but if we go over the asked amount that would be applied. Thank you for your contribution!
The $300 will go directly to the Ronald Mcdonald House which exists to help families like ours. Thank you for your help!
