Mi nombre es Yamilet Carrasquillo. Soy la mamá de mi guerrero Liam Alexy que como muchos saben nació con una condición de corazón llamada 'Síndrome del corazón izquierdo hipoplásico'. Esta es una enfermedad cardíaca congénita en la que el lado izquierdo del corazón no se desarrolla por completo o en lo absoluto en el proceso de gestación. A causa de esta condición mi niño necesita de 3 cirugías de corazón abierto, el procedimiento 'Norwood', el 'Glenn' y el 'Fontan'. Gracias a Dios las primeras dos fueron un éxito y ahora el 30 de agosto de 2024 tendrá la última con la ayuda del Padre Celestial. Mi esposo Angel A. Camacho y yo abrimos un 'Go Fund Me' porque no podremos trabajar en alrededor de dos semanas ya que la recuperación de una operación tan delicada es larga y cada niño avanza diferente. A mí en lo personal no me gusta hacer estas cosas, pero la salud de mi niño es más importante. Les pedimos encarecidamente, si está en su corazón poder ayudarnos con alguna donación para nosotros poder llevar los gastos del tiempo que estaremos cuidando a nuestro guerrero Liam y también los deducibles de los cuidados médicos.
