Support Lauren's Journey to Become a Nurse
Donazione protetta
Life can be incredibly tough, filled with obstacles, painful losses, conflicts, health issues, mental health challenges, and struggles with substance use. Often, what people need most is a compassionate hand to guide them through. Lauren is one such person in need of support. Six years ago, she left an abusive relationship, bringing her two children with her and expecting another. Despite the hurdles she faced, Lauren committed herself to caring for both the young and the elderly. While juggling these responsibilities, she also pursued her education to become a certified Nurse’s Aide and found employment at a hospital. Now that her children are in school, she has taken the brave step of enrolling at Joyce University in Draper, Utah, with aspirations of becoming a Registered Nurse. As a single mother, her financial situation is tight, and she is seeking assistance with her tuition. Every contribution will directly support her educational expenses and books. I am doing my best to help, but the need is greater than I can manage alone. Every little bit of support can make a difference; no donation is too small. This touching account of Lauren's journey showcases her strength, commitment, and the immense effort she has invested in bettering her life and that of her children. Her story serves as a powerful reminder of the strength found in perseverance and the vital role of community support in overcoming life's challenges.
Sincerely,

A note from Lauren:
Balancing the demands of being a single mom, working and academic responsibilities will undoubtedly be one of the most challenging times in my life, but I am prepared to face these challenges head-on. My children are my greatest motivation, and they inspire me to overcome obstacles I never thought possible. I am committed to creating a better future for them through my career in nursing, which will not only provide financial stability but also serve as a major example of the value of hard work, perseverance and education.
This scholarship will make this goal and dream possible. It would help the immense financial burden of life in nursing school and would allow me to focus on my studies, clinical training and my children. With this support, I am confident that I can excel academically, professionally, and live a meaningful life as a mother and a Registered Nurse. I thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Lauren
