Hi everyone, my sister Lauren Caine had a medical emergency on 1/11/25; she woke up unable to urinate, with a gush of blood following. She was diagnosed with with hemorrhagic cystitis and a bladder infection. Shortly after, a mass was found in her lower abdomen, and she was transferred to Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh. If you know Lauren well, you know that she's been having unexplained pain for quite awhile and it seems we are finally getting some answers. We are working with an amazing team to investigate the issue and come up with the best treatment plan. In the meantime, Lauren is racking up medical bills and unable to work to pay for rent, bills, and basic necessities. I flew from Los Angeles to be here with her, and our parents, Tim and Sharon, drove up from their home in South Carolina. I'm reaching out to our communities to ask for your support during this challenging time for our family.
