We started Lakeside Lawn Care with a simple, yet ambitious goal: to create meaningful opportunities where none existed. My son, despite his strong work ethic and enthusiasm, faced repeated rejection from employers who only saw his autism, not his potential as a dedicated employee. Refusing to let that discourage us, we decided to build our own path.

We put our heads down and got to work. Over the past six months, operating with grit and determination, we successfully mowed our way to over $14,000 in earnings. Our business model is solid, our work ethic is strong, and our clients are happy. We've proven we can succeed.

Where the Money Went (and Why We Need Your Help)

While $14,000 in six months sounds great, the reality of starting a physical labor business with limited initial capital hit us hard. Most of our revenue was immediately funneled back into maintaining old, failing equipment. We've spent countless hours and dollars on repairs, which has hindered our ability to scale and retain profits.

Purchase New, Reliable Equipment: This is our most urgent need. Investing in professional-grade mowers, trimmers, and snow removal gear will drastically reduce our repair costs and allow us to work more efficiently and reliably.

Secure Business Insurance: To operate professionally and protect our clients and business, we need comprehensive liability insurance and Workman's Comp insurance.

Cover Operational Costs & Winterize: We need funds to bridge the gap during the colder months. Our plan is to transition to snow removal services over the winter to establish year-round clientele and revenue streams, but we need the appropriate equipment (plow, salt spreader, etc.) to do so effectively.
