Support Lacie's Fight Against Cervical Cancer

As most of you know my sister, Lacie Kildow (Villines) was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer at the beginning of this year. Since her diagnosis she has endured a number of surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation as well as brachytherapy. Just this past week Lacie has gotten extremely ill and hasn’t been able to keep anything down. This is the result of complications from the brachytherapy. She was instructed to return to Salt Lake City in Utah to the Huntsman Hospital where they have found her bowels and intestines to be very inflamed. At this time we are unsure how she long she will be there, as it has already been almost a week. In the past few weeks Lacie has tried to go back to work as she has been off since mid-December and has depleted her sick leave and vacation time. This has been a difficult financial strain on her and her family. Brett has been and will continue to work as much as possible. They would never say nor ask so I’ve taken it upon myself to reach out to my friends and family for some financial support for my sister and her family in this devastating situation. I hate to see her and her family suffer emotionally, let alone, the worry of the financial side of her illness. As we all know it is hard to ask for help and if you know Lacie, she wouldn’t ask, but I will because this is the only thing I know to do for her to bring her a little comfort.
