Our dear friend's 4-year-old golden-doodle, Koda, was struck by a car on Saturday, January 9th. He was taken to the emergency vet hospital where an X-ray and MRI both revealed significant fractures to his pelvis and femur. 

Thankfully, he didn't suffer internal bleeding or damage to his vital organs, but the fractures required emergency reconstructive surgery and require intensive post-op rehab in the coming months.

Unfortunately, my friends didn’t have pet insurance to cover the traumatic accident, and as one can imagine the related expenses are a significant financial burden. As of this fundraiser update, the bills have exceeded $25.

Koda is young and has plenty of fulfilling life ahead of him.

As any pet lover knows, there was no option other than to move forward with the recommended emergency surgery for his recovery back to full health. Given this situation, we are starting a fundraiser to offset some of the financial burden related to Koda’s accident.

ANY contribution helps the family pay for Koda's extensive medical expenses including the emergency visit, surgery, medications, and the rehabilitation ahead. Koda’s family and I are immensely grateful for any donation to help Koda recover and get back on his paws.
