Through generous donations for two years, we have been able to bring the gift of reading to over 40 kids.

Last year, with donations we were able to gift our classroom with enough money for each kid to pick out any book they wanted at the Scholastic book fair. Two years before, when the school wasn't doing book fairs, we provided and entirely free "bookfair" to our kindergarten class.

In 2 weeks, our classes will have the opportunity to shop once again. I know not having money to shop while the rest of your classmates do can be a very isolating, sad feeling for a kid, and with uncertainty looming for many, something like books may not be a priority for families.

Books were everything to me as a kid and provided a wonderful, creative escape.

I would love to once again raise enough funds for the 21 kids in my daughter's class to shop. If we're dreaming BIG, we could raise enough for the whole school of around 200 kids to shop and come away with a free book.

If we meet our goal, funds will be passed on to our teacher to distribute. If we do not raise enough, the funds will be given to our teacher to add to the classroom library.

25% of book fair proceeds are given back to the school as well!
