There will be pamphlets available for those who would like one. Im working on the possibility of providing food for all guests, but this isn't set in stone yet.
Chances are it would be a cheeseburger and a drink.
For anyone that would like to make a donation the GoFundMe is still in place. Within that, at the bottom portion are 3 other options if you like. Don't feel obligated or pressured to do so. (A link will be provided below)
For those driving or flying in from further out. There are two hotels and pretty much the only two i would recommend. The Holiday inn on the SE side of Altus. (Closest to the alley)
Or, the Hampton inn on the north side. (Across town)
Im not sure what their rates are being honest. Altus has many food options and some shopping for those unfamiliar with the area.

Hampton Inn address:

***Original Post***
I have started this fundraiser on behalf of my brother, Patrick, his wife Kelley, and their two children Chevy and Serinity.
A few weeks ago, Kelley was diagnosed with pneumonia and began antibiotic treatment at home. Unfortunately, her symptoms continued to worsen and she was admitted in her local hospital after having trouble breathing. On February 14th, her oxygen saturations severely dipped and she became unresponsive. She was flown by helicopter to St. Anthony’s hospital and admitted into ICU. Initially Kelley seemed responsive to the IV antibiotics and BIPAP oxygen support. However, she continued to have trouble eating, strained a muscle from coughing, was dealing with heart issues from sleep apnea mixed with the pneumonia at night, and her oxygen saturations began to dip again. On Saturday, the 15th , the doctors made the call to intubate and switch from the BIPAP to a ventilator. Since going on the ventilator, they have kept Kelley sedated to help her rest. The doctors have attempted to identify the specific strand of pneumonia through several methods in order to tailor her meds, but the results kept coming back inconclusive. On Thursday, February 20th, a follow-up CT scan was done that showed the pneumonia and spread again. They also had to insert a catheter which they had been able to avoid before. On Friday, February 21st, a bronchoscopy finally revealed that Kelley has a fungal pneumonia. Fungal pneumonia is much harder to treat than viral or bacterial. The doctor has told Patrick to prepare for the long haul. The doctors currently have no estimate of how long she will remain in ICU or require breathing assistance.
At this time, Kelley is mostly remaining stable. It seems a step forward is often followed by a step back, and small victories are very hard won. While we’re grateful for this stability, her prolonged pulmonary support will come with further complications in the future. Kelley’s recovery is also complicated by pre-existing health issues. Due to Kelley's scoliosis one lung is smaller than the other, and unfortunately, the larger, stronger lung is the one affected by pneumonia, leaving her with very little breathing capacity. This is why the breathing difficulties initially started. She also has a brachial plexus injury which causes nerve pain in her left arm. Brachial plexus injuries also make coughing difficult, which makes it harder for Kelley to have an effective cough to help clear the pneumonia.
To further complicate matters, Kelley typically spends her days caring for their younger daughter with level 3 Autism. After entering the hospital in their hometown, care for Serinity had to be balanced between Patrick and Chevy. When Kelley was flown to OKC, my mom has had to step in and is currently staying with Serinity in Patrick and Kelley’s home while Patrick and Chevy stay with Kelley at St. Anthony’s. My brother has also been unable to work and will soon run out of PTO time. Fortunately, he will be able to get FMLA to preserve his job…UNFORTUNATELY, it will NOT be a paid leave, so they will soon be without any income and with significant medical bills looming, needing to secure appropriate care for Serinity now and in the future, and Chevy’s graduation from high school and enrollment at University Technical Institute in Texas.
As you can imagine, this is extremely overwhelming mentally, emotionally and financially for the entire family. Any help and support is GREATLY appreciated.
How can you help?
