Support Kati Stark's Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Kathy Mansco and I'm raising funds for Teri Stark to help cover medical expenses for my granddaughter, Kati Stark. Three weeks ago, she and her best friend were hit by an SUV and were seriously injured. She had to undergo major surgery for her pelvic bone that was crushed. She also has a fractured wrist and torn ligaments around her right knee. She is having to learn how to walk again due to the injuries to her right side of her body. She was in pretty bad shape. Needless to say, she's in a lot of pain. Normally, I wouldn't be asking for help but under the circumstances, I feel like it's necessary.

The man who hit her only had the minimum car insurance that was required by the state. This fundraiser is to help cover her out of pocket medical expenses (her medical bills before rehab were over $150,000 and climbing) and day to day living expenses. Kati will be coming home Friday and needs certain types of accommodations to help her get around and for us to care for her properly. Teri has to pay for these things out of pocket and then hope that the guy's insurance will reimburse her. So, we would greatly appreciate any help that can be given. Thank you.
