Support Kahory's Urgent Surgery Needs

Kahory needs urgent surgery as she has been diagnosed with Right Simple Chronic Ostemastoiditis and Left Cholesteatomatous Chronic Otitis Media, a medical condition of an infection that affects the ear and mastoid bone, if this is not treated in time she could contract life threatening meningitis.

Kahory is a Down's Syndrome girl from Nosara. She went through primary school at the Serapio Lopez Fajardo School in Nosara, Nicoya, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Last year she graduated from 6th grade and is remembered in school as a very sweet and kind girl, loved by all the teachers and classmates.

Kahory shows us how to be a person full of joy and love. She was part of the school band during the years she studied there. Her passion is singing and dancing and she is always seen with a smile on her face.

She is currently a student at the Bocas de Nosara School, with the support of her family and teachers who have always supported her and helped her to excel.

Kahory deserves a chance to move forward in this complicated time of health and the only way is with your help.

At the Hospital in Liberia where Kahorys case is being treated, there is no room until next year and according to the doctors she can't wait that long.

We need your help so that Kahory can be operated on as soon as possible as the cost of the operation for Otitis Media Cronica cholesteatomatosa Izquierda at the Clinica Biblica in San Jose, Costa Rica is ₡4,600,000 and the doctors have given her approximately one month to perform this surgery.

After this surgery it is necessary to perform another surgery to treat Right Simple Chronic Ostemastoiditis which also has an approximate cost of ₡4,600.000 for this surgery was given an average time of 3 months.

Both operations have an approximate cost of ₡9,200.000 because as indicated in the attached document provided by the biblical clinic the cost of renting the operating room may vary depending on the duration of the procedure and the necessary inputs, we also have to take into account that open extra expenses such as accommodation and transportation as Kahory after this surgery will have to rest and can not be transferred immediately to his home as it would be a very tiring trip for her.

For this first surgery we will be collecting a total of $10,000 as it is the one that has to be done urgently and then when the second surgery is scheduled we will be raising another amount to cover the cost of it.

Kahory necesita ser operada de urgencia ya que fue diagnosticada con Ostemastoiditis Crónica Simple Derecha y Otitis Media Crónica colesteatomatosa Izquierda, esta es una condición medica de una infección que afecta el oido y el hueso mastoides, si esto no se trata a tiempo puede contraer meningitis poniendo en riesgo su vida.

Kahory es una niña con Síndrome de Down de Nosara. Realizó toda la primaria en la escuela Serapio López Fajardo de Nosara, Nicoya, Guanacaste de Costa Rica. El año pasado se graduó de 6° grado, en la escuela se la recuerda como una niña muy dulce y amable, querida por todos los profesores y compañeritos.

Kahory nos demuestra como ser una persona llena de alegría y amor. Formó parte de la banda escolar durante los años que estudió allí. Su pasión es cantar y bailar y siempre se la ve con una sonrisa en el rostro.

Actualmente es estudiante del Colegio Bocas de Nosara, con el apoyo de su familia y docentes que siempre la han apoyado y ayudado a superarse.

Kahory merece una oportunidad para seguir adelante en este momento tan complicado de salud y la única forma es con su ayuda.

En el Hospital de Liberia donde se lleva el caso de Kahory no hay espacio hasta el próximo año y según los médicos no puede esperar tanto tiempo

Necesitamos de su ayuda para que Kahory pueda ser operada lo más rápido posible ya que el costo de la operación de Otitis Media Crónica colesteatomatosa Izquierda en la Clínica Bíblica en San José de Costa Rica es de ₡4,600.000 los médicos le dieron un aproximando de un mes de tiempo para realizar esta cirugía.

Después de esta cirugía es necesario realizar otra para tratar la Ostemastoiditis Crónica Simple Derecha la cual también tiene un costo aproximado de ₡4,600.000 para esta cirugía se le dio un promedio de tiempo de 3 meses.

Ambas operaciones tiene un costo aproximado de ₡9,200.000 ya que a como lo indican en el documento adjunto brindado por la clínica bíblica el costo del alquiler de la sala de operaciones puede variar en función de la duración del procedimiento y los insumos necesarios, además tenemos que tomar en cuenta que abran gastos extra como el hospedaje y transporte ya que Kahory luego de esta cirugía tendrá que guardar reposo y no podrá ser trasladada de inmediato a su casa pues seria un viaje muy cansado para ella.

Para esta primer cirugía estaremos recolectando un total de $10,000 ya que es la que se tiene que realizar de urgencia posteriormente cuando se programe la segunda cirugía estaremos realizando otra recaudación para cubrir el costo de la misma.
