This fundraiser is to help the Mathews family cover the costs associated with their latest rounds of brain radiation treatments. The financial strain on this family includes the treatments themselves, costs of travel, costs of hotel and lodging as well as trying they're hardest to pay for their family home and normal bills while they are gone getting treatment. With Julie's paralysis, visual impairments, and other daily day to day difficulties that come along with brain damage her husband devotes all of his time to her physical care which unfortunately makes any type of income extremely hard for this family to come by. In her past Julie has been a very devoted mother and loving wife and a friend who has a lot of love in her heart.
