Support Jon Lande's Road to Recovery

Hello everyone,

My name is Jen Donsky, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my good friend and neighbor Jon Lande. Recently, Jon was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that has left him facing a long and challenging road to recovery.

Jon has always had a passion for riding motorcycles, and it was during one of his routine rides on Sunday, June 2nd, that the accident occurred. Jon was riding on 611 in Kintnersville around 7am, on his way to lead a memorial ride for a friend who had recently passed away. He was going around 35 MPH when a deer jumped out in front of him and he was unable to avoid it. The accident resulted in severe injuries, including 2 brain bleeds, several broken bones in his nose and cheeks, a partially collapsed lung, 4 fractured ribs and an open wound on his right leg that went down to the bone. He also suffered multiple foot fractures, a broken ankle and broken toes. Jon was in ICU for 2 days. He is now home recovering but has a long road ahead.

On top of all of this, Jon was supposed to start rehab while in the hospital but his father, whom he is very close with, got sick and was admitted to a different hospital then Jon was in. Jon was released to go visit his father, and his father passed away right after seeing Jon. It has been a horrible few weeks for him and his family.

As you can imagine, the financial burden of medical bills is overwhelming. Neither Jon or his wife, Maria are able to work right now because of Jon's accident. Jon is a hardworking individual who has ALWAYS been there for others, and now he needs our support more than ever.
