Support Jess's Journey to Heal, Recover and Thrive!

Hi! My name is Mo, and I’m raising funds for my very dear friend, Jess. I’m honored to tell a part of her story, in hopes of reaching like-hearted folks like Jess.

Just before Christmas of 2024, Jess was involved in a devastating, single-person car wreck. The magnitude of her injuries resulted in several weeks on life support; varying specialists, surgeons, and nurses; a long road ahead with physical, occupational, speech therapy, burn follow ups and voice specialists; and not to mention a profound journey through emotional healing. Jess would be considered a medical anomaly by some among the healthcare profession. But from a personal connection standpoint, Jess’ strong faithful roots and life purpose kept her here with us today. Jess survived for a purpose far greater than what can probably be conceived. Her natural ability to genuinely see others—their pain, beauty, strengths, and lovability—is both intriguing and powerful.

Jess is an impactful person in this world. We met while working on the same regional team for the same company. Though I’m certain our meeting was fated beyond a work relationship. She has touched my life in ways I could spend the rest of time explaining. Jess just has an organic 6th sense to give and heal others through her innate ability of loving kindness. She’s the type of person who would give anything she had to another, should it inspire direction, meaning, etc.

Due to her time spent in the hospital and long-term recovery, Jess is unable to give to others in the ways that feed her soul most. She is in a place where she is completely starting over again. I can tell how difficult this is for her. But who takes care of the caretaker that takes care?
