I want to share the story of my dear friend Jessica, an incredibly strong, kind, and brave woman who has been courageously facing stage 4 breast cancer.

Before her diagnosis, Jessica worked as a kindergarten teacher, a job she truly loved and put her whole heart into. However, due to the aggressiveness of her cancer, she has been unable to continue working for more than a year, dedicating herself entirely to her treatment and recovery.

During this time, Jess has gone through a long and difficult journey that has included surgeries, a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. After a year of fighting with hope and strength, doctors recently gave her the heartbreaking news that the cancer has returned. This means she must once again go through the entire treatment process, extending even further the time without being able to work.

The emotional and financial burden has become increasingly heavy. Her mother and sister have been by her side day and night, caring for her with love, which makes covering everyday expenses even harder. Her sister is on a student visa, and her mother is on a temporary tourist visa, and it’s uncertain whether she will be able to extend her stay, adding even more emotional and financial stress for the whole family. Despite everything, Jess continues to move forward with hope, determination, and a smile that inspires everyone who knows her.

We are creating this fundraiser to help Jess cover essential living expenses such as rent, food, and basic needs while she continues her treatment. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly to her and her family to help make life a little easier during this difficult time.

Quiero compartir la historia de mi querida amiga Jessica, una mujer increíblemente fuerte, bondadosa y valiente que ha estado enfrentando con coraje un cáncer de mama en etapa 4.

Antes de su diagnóstico, Jessica trabajaba como profesora de jardín infantil, una labor que amaba profundamente y en la que ponía todo su corazón. Sin embargo, debido a la agresividad del cáncer, no ha podido continuar trabajando desde hace más de un año, dedicándose por completo a su tratamiento y recuperación.

Durante este tiempo, Jess ha pasado por un largo y difícil proceso que incluye cirugías, mastectomía, quimioterapias y radioterapias. Después de un año de lucha y esperanza, los médicos le dieron la triste noticia de que el cáncer ha regresado, por lo que deberá volver a enfrentar nuevamente todo el tratamiento, lo que prolonga aún más el tiempo sin poder trabajar.

La carga emocional y económica se ha vuelto cada vez más pesada. Su mamá y su hermana han estado a su lado día y noche, cuidándola con amor, lo que hace aún más difícil cubrir los gastos diarios. Su hermana está en una visa de estudiante y su mamá en visa de turista temporal y no se saben si pueda extender su estancia, el estrés emocional y financiero para todas ha sido muy alto. A pesar de todo, Jess sigue adelante con esperanza, determinación y una sonrisa que inspira a todos los que la conocemos.

Estamos creando esta recaudación de fondos para ayudar a Jess a cubrir gastos esenciales como el alquiler, la comida y las necesidades básicas, mientras continúa con su tratamiento. Cada contribución, sin importar el monto, irá directamente a ella y a su familia para hacerles la vida un poco más fácil en este duro momento.
