Jeremiah is more than a burn survivor—he's a beloved son, affectionately known as **"Sun"** by his mother, a loving brother, a proud uncle, a loyal friend, and a young man with his whole future ahead of him. He recently graduated high school early, a reflection of his determination and drive. Like so many young adults, Jeremiah was just beginning to discover his path in life, excited about what the future held. He loves spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew, who absolutely adore their uncle. He also enjoys basketball and has always been someone who brings laughter, kindness, and encouragement to those around him. To those who know him best, Jeremiah is the kind of person who leaves a lasting impact with his caring heart and quiet strength.

 In an instant, everything changed. Jeremiah experienced a life-altering tragedy when he was involved in a horrific car accident. Another vehicle abruptly cut him off, causing his car to collide with a semi-truck. The impact sent his car into the median, where it flipped and caught fire. Despite the unimaginable circumstances, Jeremiah fought to survive. He broke out the windows to escape the burning vehicle and with the help of strangers he extinguished the flames on his own legs before emergency help arrived. He suffered extensive second- and third-degree burns and is now receiving specialized care in a burn unit, where he has begun a long and painful road to recovery. He faces multiple surgeries, skin grafts, ongoing treatments, physical therapy, and months—if not years—of rehabilitation.

 As Jeremiah continues to fight through each day, his family remains by his side, supporting him every step of the way. The emotional and financial burdens have been overwhelming. Medical expenses, travel, lodging, lost income for family members providing care, and countless unexpected costs continue to grow as they focus on helping Jeremiah heal. We are raising funds to help ease these burdens so Jeremiah can concentrate on what matters most—recovering and rebuilding his life.
