My name is David Rose, and I am Jeff Rose’s oldest son.
I’m creating this fundraiser because my dad, Jeff Rose, has been diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer, and our family is facing the hardest challenge of our lives.
The cancer has spread into his bones, causing severe pain and making it difficult for him to move around. Some days he can walk, and other days he struggles just to stand. He recently started radiation and chemotherapy, and the treatments are intense — sometimes lasting four to five hours at a time.
Because of the pain, weakness, and rapid weight loss, my dad is no longer able to work. He does not have health insurance, and every treatment, scan, and doctor visit has to be paid out of pocket. Some visits cost hundreds of dollars at a time, and the bills are piling up faster than my family can keep up.
My mom is the only one working right now, and she’s doing everything she can, but her income isn’t enough to cover the medical costs, travel, medications, and regular household bills. They’re trying to stay strong, but the financial strain is becoming difficult.
I’m starting this fundraiser because my parents would never ask for help themselves, but they truly need it. Every donation will go directly toward:
- Out‑of‑pocket cancer treatments
- Chemotherapy sessions
- Radiation therapy costs
- Doctor visits and specialist appointments
- Scans, X‑rays, and lab work
- Emergency visits if needed
- Pain management medications
- Anti‑nausea and chemo‑related meds
- Daily prescriptions
- Over‑the‑counter supplies needed for comfort and care
