Support Jax's Recovery and Medical Needs

Hi, my name is Sheila K. Greseth and I’m asking for help to save our family dog, Jax’s! Jax’s was shot in the city of Browns Valley MN on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at approximately 1:00 pm. I called the Traverse County Sheriff and reported the incident. The local veterinary told me to take him to Fargo to the red river valley veterinary in Fargo so my four kids took him to Fargo. The officer told me I would have a report of who shot my dog on Sunday night or Monday morning. I never received the report. Fargo had to operate on Jax’s neck and remove the plastic fragments from his collar being shot and the plastic going into his back. I had to make a payment plan for $880 to be able to take Jax’s home. Once Jax’s got home they said he would need his bandage changes and it’s called a wet/dry bandage. The veterinarian in town wants $300 to change the bandage. That funding I currently don’t have and with no report I can’t file charges against anyone for shooting my dog in city limits. Jax’s is 10 years old and he has been a part of our family the whole time. He is more than just a pet to us he is pet of us. I’m humbling myself to please ask you all for help to save our Jax’s aka Tiny. I’m praying that justice will be served for Jax’s and that we get the funding we need to save our family member.
