The Jamaica Women’s Lacrosse team, coached by Noelle Dribben, is preparing to compete in the 2026 Pan-American Sixes Lacrosse Championships, held from September 29 to October 4 in Oshawa, Ontario. This tournament, hosted by Lacrosse Canada, is a pivotal event where elite women’s national teams will vie for qualification spots at the 2027 World Lacrosse Sixes Championships. For Jamaica, this is the first official step in the continental qualification pathway for lacrosse’s return to the Olympics at the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
As a developing program, the team relies heavily on player-driven fundraising to cover essential costs such as uniforms, equipment, and international travel. Many of our athletes face significant financial barriers, and your support can make a real difference—helping more players participate, easing the burden of travel and accommodation expenses, and ensuring the team is equipped to compete at the highest level. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to our Olympic dreams and helps build a brighter future for women’s lacrosse in Jamaica.
It is with deep appreciation that we thank you for taking the time to support our fundraiser. The Jamaica Women’s Lacrosse Program relies on the generous support of donors to continue building opportunities for athletes on and off the field, both on the Island and across the diaspora. As a developing program in a growing sport, fundraising is critical to cover essential expenses such as travel, equipment, uniforms, training camps, and tournament fees—many of which are not easily accessible or affordable for our players. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our athletes and the future of Jamaican women’s lacrosse.
