We are reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. Our beloved sister, Hilda Parker, has been courageously battling stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized throughout her body. Over the past several months, she endured countless treatments, some that gave us hope and precious time, and others that were no longer effective. Despite her strength and determination, treatments are no longer an option.

Hilda is now receiving at-home hospice care. Her condition has declined rapidly, and she requires around-the-clock care to remain comfortable. Her strength is fading each day, and our family is doing everything possible to keep her surrounded by love, dignity, and peace during these final moments. This journey has been emotionally, physically, and financially overwhelming. Hilda’s care needs are constantly changing, and we are struggling to keep up with the costs of medical supplies, hospice care, equipment, and in-home assistance. At the same time, we are preparing for the inevitable and the expenses that come with honoring her life.
