Over the years, Greg Freitas and his wife, Lili Goodman, have offered support for their friends, family and greater community. Recently, while visiting friends in Philadelphia, Greg suffered a stroke. This unexpected event has brought many challenges, but Greg is making progress and is expected to regain his capacities over time. Throughout this journey, Lili has been by his side, providing unwavering love and support.

Now, Greg and Lili face the difficult task of getting Greg back home to Petaluma. Medical transportation is needed to ensure his safety and comfort during the trip. Once home, Greg will require nursing support and assistance as he continues his recovery. These services are essential for his healing and well-being, but they come with significant costs that are difficult to manage alone.

Some needs: Greg's current condition does not permit him to fly home without medical assistance, the cost of simply getting him home is approximately $12,000, their home is going to require modifications for Greg to navigate the house, once his balance returns so that he is capable of walking on his own, he will need considerable therapies in order to restore cognition, balance and gait. It's a long term process they are walking together.
