Help Us Honor Grandma Rosie
Many of you may remember Grandma Rosie’s warm smile and kind heart from her 25 years of waitressing at Maverick—or from her incredible 40-50 years of serving at various restaurants in the area. Growing up, I (Ashley) always heard countless stories about how loved she was. Customers adored her.
These past few weeks have been especially difficult for our family. Grandma Rosie has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is now at home on hospice care. As a family, we’re doing everything we can to keep her comfortable and to care for both her and Grandpa during this challenging time.
One of the hardest parts has been preparing for her final arrangements. We recently learned that she doesn’t have life insurance, and unfortunately, Grandma and Grandpa don’t have the financial means to cover the costs of a funeral and other medical expenses. While our family is coming together to help as much as possible, we still need additional support.
If Grandma Rosie ever brought a smile to your face, maybe served you a meal with extra care, or if there’s a tip you meant to leave her years ago, we’d be incredibly grateful for any help you can provide now. Every dollar makes a difference and will go toward honoring her memory in the way she deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support during this time. Please keep Grandma Rosie in your thoughts and prayers, and if you’re able, consider sharing this campaign with others.
With gratitude,
Ashley and the Family
