Support Día de los Muertos: A Celebration of Life and Death
For the past six years, six community members have come together to host an annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event in Columbus. We call it “A Celebration of Life and Death,” and it’s a space where families and community members can honor their loved ones through altars, art, music, food, and tradition.
Each year, we create this event entirely out of our own pockets along with donations from our sponsors. We are not a nonprofit — just six people dedicated to keeping this tradition alive and accessible for our community.
One of the most meaningful parts of our gathering is the traditional fire ceremony, which connects us to our indigenous roots and serves as a moment of reflection, prayer, and healing.
Your donation will help us cover:
• Venue costs & setup
• Supplies for community altars & workshops
• Traditional fire ceremony materials
• Food, drinks, and cultural offerings
• Support for local artists and performers
Every dollar makes a difference. With your help, we can continue offering this celebration free and open to the community, and ensure our ancestors are honored in the way they deserve.
✨ Join us in keeping this tradition alive donate today and help us celebrate life, death, and everything in between.✨
