My name is Gaby Aldas, and I am a practicing surgeon in Quito, Ecuador. For many years, I have dedicated my life to helping others through the field of medicine. It's been my passion and purpose to provide the best care possible to my patients and support my community in their times of need.

Today, I find myself in a situation where I am the one in need of help. Recently, I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks the nerves. This condition has not only taken a toll on my health but has also rendered me unable to work and support my family as I undergo treatment.

It requires extensive medical care, including hospitalization, physical therapy, and numerous treatments to manage symptoms and aid in my recovery.
