Support Gabs' Fight for Custody Rights

Hi, Community!

We're raising funds for Gabs, who's a treasure and rock for us all. They show up for people like no one else and work incredibly hard to support us all while juggling parenting responsibilities and their position as a preschool teacher. If you know Gabs, you know they're an incredible friend and teacher, but they're an even better mom. They take their role as a parent very seriously, prioritizing their son's happiness and well-being in every decision they make. Seeing the close and attuned relationship between the two of them is a joy and an honor for anybody lucky enough to spend time with them.

They are currently being put through a custody battle and need to raise $5k MINIMUM to pay their lawyer to secure and keep custody of their four-year-old son. Leaving Gabs without the chance to fight for their son would be a huge failure on the part of those that know them and the larger community. They deserve the right to legal representation in court, and we can help provide it to them. The funds that they had previously secured for the payment are now unlikely to pan out, so it's our time to show up!
