Support Gabriel Wagner's Heart Transplant Recovery

Hi, my name is Jessica Pennington.
I am writing on behalf of my family, currently facing an incredibly challenging time. My brother-in-law, Gabriel Wagner, recently underwent a heart transplant. God has answered our prayers with him being chosen for the heart transplant. While we are immensely grateful, and blessed for the successful surgery, the road to recovery is long and fraught with financial burdens.
Due to the severity of his condition, Gabriel is unable to work for up to possibly 1 year. As most of you are aware he underwent a major heart surgery back October 19th, 2023. His fiancé Tina Culp has been by his side without leaving it side since his heart transplant on 6/29/24. She is a hair stylist, so as we know that doesn't come with PTO, or FMLA to help with finances while she was out of work and limiting what she can work due to appointments in Seattle a few times a week.
We applied for disability, but this will take time to process, and even with that as we know costs of living have increased tremendously. All the programs for help are out of funds to help for the year. I know by reaching out to our community, family, and friends for support that we can help relieve this burden from his family.

• Ensuring Gabriel Wagner has access to necessary follow-up treatments needed not covered by state assistance.
