When you're born and raised in Hawaii, the thought of moving off the island to start a new life on the mainland is scary, exciting, and unpredictable all at the same time. Add in the intention to open a Jiu Jitsu gym, you can imagine how the uncertainty of success and/or failure can be daunting.

In 2021, our professors Jordan and Tracey made the 3000+ mile move from the little rock in the middle of the ocean to Texas to start building their legacy - Free World Jiujitsu. The last 4+ years have not been the easiest for them. At one point, they had to continue classes in their home garage gym to ensure their loyal students, both adults and children, had a place to learn and train jiujitsu. If you're part of the Free World family now, you know how resilient they are and how their unwavering determination to find a space for everyone to train led them to the place we now call Free World Jiujitsu in Pflugerville.

Over the last few years, the number of people joining the Free World family has grown significantly to the point where we have outgrown the space, but here is the part of the story that you have the great opportunity to be a part of...

Free World is finally EXPANDING their space! And the best part is they are taking over the space just RIGHT next door. But - we need YOUR help and support. Our goal here is to raise funds to support our gym in the renovation, materials, and most importantly the BRAND-NEW mats to expand the mat space, ensuring a safe place to train for adults, and all the kiddos. There is no contribution too small, and we would appreciate any support.

Jiujitsu is a community, a culture, and in most gyms - a family. I encourage you to help our little family grow, but I also invite you to join us if you are not already part of the Free World family.
