Support for Travis & Susan Korthuis family

Our beautiful grandson and nephew Tyrone is fighting a battle that no child should have to fight - the fight against cancer.

Tyrone is only 9 years old. He is tender-hearted and so loving.  He was just last week diagnosed with a Rhabdomyosarcoma tumour growing in his nose and sinuses! The tumour is fairly large in size which means surgery is not an option due to the close proximity to the eyes and brain. He will start chemotherapy and radiation this week for the next 42 weeks!

Tyrone is taking all of this like a brave little super hero. There are many more tests ahead and many trying times!

We have started this Go Fund Me account to ease the burden of his parents, Travis and Susan. They have to uproot their wonderful lives from Albany WA and relocate to Perth so that Tyrone can receive his weekly treatments. Over the next days, weeks, and months ahead they will need to be at countless doctor appointments, hospital stays and chemotherapy. Travis now needs to find a job in Perth but can only work 2-3 days a week due to Tyrone’s treatment. As you can imagine the normal costs of  every day living...such as rent, food, fuel, car, etc... won’t be easy without any help!

This will enable Tyrone’s parents be able to concentrate on Tyrone treatment and fighting this horrible disease called cancer.
