Support for the Lopez Family After Tragic Hit-and-Run

On July 19th, a beautiful mother and grandmother, Maria Angelica Lopez, was the victim of a fatal hit-and-run while walking near Alameda Avenue and Gibraltar Drive in El Paso, TX. No attempt to help. No stopping. Just gone.

She was 77 years old, still healthy enough, full of warmth, love, and kindness. Our family is heartbroken, and we are asking for support as we try to lay her to rest with the love and dignity she gave so freely to others.

Maria was the kind of person who made the world brighter. She had a heart of gold, always chose kindness, and found joy in doing the little things to make others smile. She never judged anyone she only saw the good in people.

She leaves behind:

• 2 children

• 3 grandchildren

• 3 siblings (1 sister and 2 brothers)

…and a community of loved ones touched by her grace and generosity.
